Hyper 7 is a nice pick...
Ray, Ofna makes a torque starter to replace the backplate stock one (pull).
Also make sure to get the torque starter & Backplate, there is one thats made just for Hyper blocks. Its works miracles! Also a flat 6.0 (5 cell) battery works for the receiver battery (to replace the 4 AA's).
Thanks,
Brandon (Mississippi)

I have a Hyper7 with a MAC 28 motor. I am having problems with the pull starter recoiling. I am thinking of byeing a electric starter. I have been told I can start with a drill. How do you think this can be done?
                                           Thanks
                                            Ray

I have been running a Hyper 7 for 18 Months or so and have had NO problems at all, other than those caused by my own lack of experience and ability!!!.
I have actually just ordered a 2nd Hyper 7 because I run my 1st ON-Road, the 2nd will be dedicated to off road only. This means no need to change set-up etc every time i want to "play". I have learned a lot in the last 18 Mths or so, and I would not buy another Hyper 7 if I wasn't extremely happy with the 1st one. Buy one, use one, drive one.....forget the negative comments......it's usually the driver's fault if vehicles aren't winning ;-)

I have owned a hyper 7 now for about one year and this offroad buggy came as a ready to run package with a Mach28 motor. If i had my chance again i would never by another hyper 7 TQ ever again as they are cheap and nasty. The Mach28 motor is just rubbish would be better off buying a nitro buggy kit and building a buggy as you end up with a better racing car

Hi
Can you advise on what number and how many of the spacer rings you used for the shocks on the hyper 7

Jim,

the diffs are just lightly greased standard, i reccomend you get some silicon diff oil and fill the diffs half way.

personally i run 100 weight in the rear, 5000 in the front and 10000 in the centre, it gives much better traction.

i have a rex x pro, which is an old beater now and a brand new Hyper7 TQ sport which i am still running in.

I'm sure you'll have fun with the car.
