LogWatch Update
For the last couple of days I’ve been hacking away at logwatch. I’m not quite ready to release code and patches yet. The changes are faily significant, and I’d like to leave it a day or two to settle (I’m using it in production now) before I do.
There are a lot of changes on the way though, particularly for email admins.
- Per-Domain Report - Shows how much email each domain handled.
- Amavis Filter - Detailed analysis of logfile entries generated by amavis, including a list of viruses detected.
- Message Size Distribution - shows the number and total size of messages grouped by size eg. 0-10k 10k059k, etc.
- Large Message Report - Shows who is sending messages to whom.
- Qpopper Script - Added tests to suppress a lot of meaningless error messages.
